Sportsmetrics is the training program scientifically proven to develop physically strong athletes, equipped with techniques to reduce the risk of injury while enhancing performance and increased jump height. Trainers go through a certification in the Sportsmetrics Program from the Cincinnati Sportsmedicine and Orthopaedic Center.

Sportsmetrics provides a well-rounded training regimen to address fundamental strength, coordination, agility and aerobic fitness. It includes the scientifically proven components of Sportsmetrics, which includes a dynamic warm up, jump/polymetrics drills, strength training and stretching.

Whenever possible, a basketball is used to enhance balance, postural/body control and trunk strength. The strength exercises are functional body weight exercises emphasizing total body conditioning. Agility drills and cardiovascular workouts that are based on basketball movement patterns and drills round out the training.

At the end of the training program, the athlete should be physically ready to begin the sports season with a solid foundation of strength, endurance, agility and flexibility. These are the conerstones for perfecting athletic skill.
