Joanna Howard, MPT, Certified Pilates Instructor, Yoga Instructor

As a child growing up in a military family, Joanna has had the opportunity to live in many exciting places around the world, including Italy, Iceland, Ireland and Barbados. She completed her high school education in Ireland and after arriving back in the states she attended Notre Dame College where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Joanna went on to continue her education at Franklin Pierce College, where in 2003 she graduated with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.

Joanna began her professional career as a Physical Therapist working in a nursing home setting. Although she found that work to be rewarding, she had a strong desire to work in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. In 2004, Joanna joined the team at Abilities Rehabilitation Center and presently divides her time between the two locations in Portsmouth and Brentwood NH.

Pilates is also one of Joanna's passions. She is currently certified in Classical Pilates and provides instruction in both the Brentwood and Portsmouth locations.
